Music, Traveling, bright colors, mystery, Nature, The world around me, my community, and other artists.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
Don't worry about what others want for you. Only worry about what you want for yourself.

What do you think the future holds for people of color in creative industries?
I think we have so much more to show and do. I think we are realizing our power and now have the resources to expand our networks and share our work more widely. I think it’s only up from here.

What is your dream job?
Running my own media company. Designing visuals and aesthetics, making playlists and curating music for people. Just creating overall vibes and experiences for people. I love a creative atmosphere and if I could create a physical and digital atmosphere for others id love it.
What skill(s) would you develop if you had more time?
Graphic Design, Drawing, & Music Production.
What is the last thing you learned?
I recently learned to follow my heart more and make sure I execute my creative visions fully.
What are you working on right now?
I just finished a digital magazine about passion featuring other artists in my community. Now I'm learning social media marketing to combine with my photography and graphic design.
If you could talk to your favorite creative for an hour, who would it be? Why?
I would love to talk to Ruth E. Carter because her practice as a costume designer is based on research and lived experience. I would love to talk with her about her process of finding information, how she uses this information to create something new, and how I could apply that to my own practice.
What advice would you give to creatives of color looking to pursue their passion full-time?
Never forget how much you love your craft. I think it's easy to get caught up in the pressures of the world or success and we may compromise our creativity or our vision. Never lose your passion and allows follow your gut. Doing what you love is the only way to find true success and fulfillment. Don't compromise.
How do you keep your creative drip going?
I try to go outside of my normal physical area and see something new. Take walks, travel, or go to different parks to make sure I’m not seeing the same thing every day.
